Micro Tai Chi

Learn the principle. Practise it in life. Reconnect it to the whole.

Micro Tai Chi is the Shang approach to reinforcing genuine Tai Chi principles through short, purposeful practices integrated into everyday life.

Tai Chi is what you learn.
Micro Tai Chi is how you keep practising it.

A main lesson teaches the principle properly. A related 2–10 minute Micro practice helps you revisit it later — without pretending a short exercise replaces deeper Tai Chi study.

Micro does not mean watered down. Every Micro practice must reinforce a genuine Tai Chi or Qigong principle and explain how that isolated practice reconnects to integrated Tai Chi.

Tai Chi moments

Before getting out of bed. After sitting up. Waiting for the kettle. Waiting for a bus or train. At a desk. Walking. Outside in nature. Before sleep.

The point is not to perform exercises constantly. It is to become better at noticing structure, breath, tension, weight, intention, movement and surroundings.
